Find your next Minnesota fishing lake

Thousands of DNR-surveyed Minnesota lakes, searchable by the fish you're after — with the DNR's own survey numbers, state fish consumption advice, and a catch log for your personal bests. The data lives on your phone, so it works without a signal.

Best lakes for your species

Filter lakes by species, catch rate against the DNR's normal range, survey year, lake size and "eaters vs. trophy" size classes — all free. Subscribers can also rank the results for a game fish by size, catch rate and distance from them.

Know before you eat

Minnesota Department of Health guidance on mercury, PFAS and PCBs — the lake's own advisory where one has been issued, and the statewide guidance that applies everywhere else. Separate limits for anyone pregnant, who may become pregnant, or nursing, and for kids under 15. Rarely shown in fishing apps at all.

Your catch, measured

Log what you catch and keep a personal best for each species — free, and it stays on your phone. Subscribers also see how each fish stacks up against what the DNR netted in that same lake and against the Minnesota state record.

Real DNR survey data

Catch rates by gear, sizes and length ranges, survey by survey — each one placed against the DNR's own published normal range for that species on that gear, with the range printed beside the number so you can check the call.

Deep lake details

Depth, shoreline, public access and boat ramps, stocking history and special regulations, shown wherever the DNR has them on record. Ice-out and ice-in dates too — the lake's own history where the DNR has tracked it, and an estimate from nearby lakes where it hasn't.

Honest about the data

A survey is a sample, not a census. Dated surveys are flagged, species missing from the latest survey are called out rather than glossed over, catch rates are only ever compared within the same net type, and where the DNR publishes no rating the app says so instead of inventing one.

Built for up north

The whole dataset ships inside the app, so the lake data is there at the cabin, on the ice, or down a gravel road with no bars — only the map itself needs a signal to draw. No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking — your saved lakes and catch log never leave your device. Plan smarter. Fish better.
